Detailed Analysis of a Town Hall 10 (TH10) Base Design – Anti 3-Star War Base #1250

In Clash of Clans, creating a strong base is essential to defending your resources and securing victories in Clan Wars. The TH10 base is a great example of a Hybrid War Base that balances anti-3 star defense with smart compartmentalization and trap placement. Here’s a detailed breakdown of its features:

1. Core Layout
  • The Town Hall is well-protected at the center of the base, surrounded by layers of walls and Inferno Towers. This makes it difficult for opponents to reach, especially with strategies like Queen Walk or Mass Hog Rider.

  • Surrounding the Town Hall are the Clan Castle, X-Bows, and Archer Queen Altar, forming a high-damage zone that defends the core from all directions.

2. Inferno Towers & X-Bows
  • Both Inferno Towers are placed symmetrically and deep within the base. Their placement makes them hard to reach early in the attack.

  • They appear to be set to Multi-Target Mode, which is ideal for defending against spam troops like Witches, Bowlers, or Hogs.

  • X-Bows are set to target both ground and air, providing wide coverage against all troop types.

3. Wall Structure & Compartmentalization
  • The walls are intricately segmented, forming numerous small compartments that slow down ground troops and force attackers to use multiple Wall Breakers or Jump Spells.

  • This layout disrupts funneling attempts and forces troops to split or follow unintended paths.

4. Defensive Buildings Placement
  • Wizard Towers, Archer Towers, and Cannons are evenly distributed to provide balanced coverage across the base.

  • Giant Bombs and Spring Traps are placed along key pathways where Hog Riders or Miners are likely to move, adding lethal surprises.

  • Air Defenses are well-spread and backed by air traps like Seeking Air Mines, forming a solid anti-air setup.

5. Clan Castle Positioning
  • The Clan Castle is centrally placed, making it hard for attackers to lure and eliminate defending troops before launching their main assault.

  • This positioning works best when the CC is filled with strong defending units like Baby Dragon + Witch + Archers.

6. Resource Buildings as Buffers
  • Elixir Collectors, Gold Mines, and Dark Elixir Drills are placed around the outer layer of the base, acting as buffers to delay enemy troops and disrupt pathing.

  • Some Builder Huts are strategically placed in the corners to waste the enemy’s time, a classic anti-100% tactic.

7. Additional Features
  • On the outer left and right sides of the base, sleeping heroes and decorative buildings are placed to add visual depth without affecting defense.

  • Air traps and bombs are visibly placed in open spots to bait LavaLoon or Mass Baby Dragon strategies.

Conclusion
This TH10 base is designed with layered defense, smart trap positioning, and complex wall layouts to challenge attackers and prevent 3-star strategies. It’s well-suited for both Clan War and Trophy Pushing.

For best results:
  • Fill the Clan Castle with Ice Golem + Baby Dragon + Archers.

  • Keep Infernos in Multi-Target Mode to counter spam.

  • Periodically rotate trap placements to keep attackers guessing.
