The Town Hall sits inside the central defensive structure, creating several layers that an attacker must penetrate before reaching the most important targets. Multiple wall compartments divide the core and prevent troops from moving through the base in a straight line. This is particularly useful against attacks that depend on establishing a clean funnel and maintaining momentum toward the center.
The surrounding compartments are carefully distributed across the base. Inferno Towers, X-Bows, Scattershots, Air Defenses, and other key defenses provide overlapping coverage while forcing attackers to deal with different defensive zones. Resource buildings are also spread across the layout, adding extra structures that can slow down troops and affect their pathing.
The outer sections contain additional buildings and defenses that make funneling less predictable. Instead of allowing an attacker to remove a few buildings and immediately enter the core, the layered structure encourages troops to move through separate compartments.
This approach fits the modern Ranked environment. Ranked Battles use limited attacks within weekly tournaments, making defensive consistency an important part of progressing through the system. Supercell has also continued making balance adjustments to improve strategic diversity and prevent overly dominant attack patterns.
For September 2026, the current game state also follows the August update, which introduced new TH18 content, Clan War League modifier adjustments, and other gameplay changes.
With its compact core, layered walls, spread defenses, and controlled pathing, this TH15 layout is a strong template for players who want a competitive-ranked base focused on making clean three-star attacks harder to execute.
